The Earth's atmosphere is very complex at first glance but easy to understand once looked into. The earth has several ways to recycle water into clouds, storms, oceans and back into clouds again. There are three types of clouds, each one has the ability to produce a storm but the most common one that holds enough power to cause a severe storm has to be cumulus clouds. The three most common types of precipitation are rain, snow and hail. These are all caused by evaporated water condensing into those different forms. Air masses and their movement greatly affect the severity of a storm, some of the most severe storms occur along cold fronts. The most severe storm is a hurricane, following hurricanes come tornadoes which destroy almost everything in their paths. Weather station models are used by meteorologists as a way to convey the information they have collected. Climate and weather are two different things but you cannot have one without the other.
